Consider how many people solely use Facebook, then consider how many use Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn and all of the other social networks out there? Now add them all up, it’s a huge figure that runs well into the billions.
I’m pretty sure that your business doesn’t need to be on all of those social networks but for the ones that you are on; the ones that are right for your business, are you being consistent?
Being consistent with your content delivery, profile and cover images will portray a professional image to your existing and potential clients reassuring them that you are the right company to deal with.
Also by having consistent information such as the way your address is laid out and shown across all social networks will help Google realise that it’s you and help to rank your website more effectively.
