Business Continuation – COVID19
At time of writing the COVID19 virus is continuing to affect us all including the global business community with cases rising daily. Whilst we don’t wish to add to the panic, we recognise the issues that our fellow businesses face in the coming weeks and months ahead and aim to limit our involvement in the spread of this Coronavirus.
Due to the technical nature of our work, PR Geeks is in a good position to work remotely and isolate ourselves from non-essential contact with our clients or other members of the local community whilst keeping all of our services for you and your business running as usual, your business is in safe hands.
Our services remain unaffected
Clients on our GeekSecure™ monthly maintenance and other contracts will be assured to know that we will continue to deliver the same great service that you have become accustomed to prior to the outbreak as our entire business model has been built to run from the cloud since its inception. We continue to use all of the tools and platforms available to us to operate as normal during this troubling time.
We track the news carefully and follow advice issued by the relevant government health bodies and fully accept that working days may not follow normal office hours, either for us or you. We will continue to work around the Coronavirus situation and aim to limit any impact to our business and client projects as best as possible.
Putting people first
The health and well-being of our clients and the people around us is the most important factor for the PR Geeks team and we won’t compromise on this, under any circumstance. We are prepared for virtual client meetings going forward and will be maintaining any planned meetings via the Zoom laptop application which is free to download.
We agree that there is no substitute for face to face working, but, where travel is discouraged or impossible, we can continue to work with our clients using the technology availble to us.
For new or prospective clients, we are able to kick-start your new projects as normal using cloud-based technology and virtual meetings as mentioned above, get in touch if you’d like to discuss a project.
What you can do
The impact on your business may be significant and you are probably already working on a strategy to get you through the next couple of months, working together and smarter means that we will get through this. Coming out of the other side in a stronger postion than your competitors however, does depend on your preparation, during these quieter times.
Here are some things that you can do to maintain your presence:
- Write regular long form blog articles, 2000 words plus about topics relating to your search terms.
- Be visible on social media, write posts and share blogs to keep in the mind of existing clients.
- Update your website content to ensure it’s still relevant and is serving you in the best possible way.
- Carry out essential housekeeping, get your paperwork in order and be ready to kick-on.
- Engage with your customers, talk to them both on the phone and via social media regularly.
- Do the nice stuff, help out a neighbour, take some time to help those in need, it goes a long way.
- Be ready to come back fighting for your business.

It should be clear that we are forecasting for limited impact to client projects and for our business to continue to operate as normal (we hope you are too). For any help or assistance regarding this matter, get in touch and let’s beat this together.
