Which Social Platform For Your Business?

With so many different options out there, how do you choose the best social media platforms for your business? Here’s a quick rundown of our favourite four.

Facebook – The world’s biggest social media platform boasts nearly two billion monthly active users. You have the ability to connect with a vast number of people and prospects. It has the most targeted digital advertising platform in the world and offers eCommerce integrations. So in our honest opinion, having a Facebook presence for your business is not an option. It’s a must!

Instagram – ‘Insta’ is perfect for businesses that have a visual or physical product. Add high-quality images that draw a persons eye and grab their attention. Use #hashtags with your posts for that vital search-ability and to generate very high engagement levels.

Twitter – The platform to head to for trending topics and news, to share short updates, communicate with people and search for things that you might need answers too. Twitter provides you and your business a real-time communication channel with the rest of the world. Tip: Tweets with two hashtags perform better than posts with none or multiple hashtags.

LinkedIn – People often refer to LinkedIn as the ‘professional’ version of Facebook. Offering the ability to create both personal and company pages for greater brand awareness, you can share and promote job vacancies, promotions, and career opportunities.

These are just some of the top social media platforms. Remember to test, measure and repeat as there is not always one ‘perfect’ social media platform for your business. Being true to yourself, your brand and caring about the person at the other end of the post is the most important thing.
